So, Dearest Gentle Reader, you have achieved the ultimate. What might have appeared to be the impossible: you have found your perfect match(es).
Here is where you make that official. Just simply comment below.
You can choose to have your characters have an actual wedding or you can keep it a simple affair and hand wave that you all came together just to sign the relevant paperwork.
As previously mentioned, your character's motivations for marriage can vary entirely: they may genuinely love their future spouse or spouses and want to marry them, or this may be a fake marriage of convenience. Whatever their motivations, the marriage is real and binding in the eyes of the ton and characters must act accordingly when out in public and should be seen as living together... unless you as the player want to play with the repercussions of that. The choice is entirely yours.
Upon registering their marriage, characters will instantly receive the following perks:

🌸 - A "fully" functional plumbing system for their shared home... you are supposed to be living together as spouses after all. This means running hot and cold water from taps in your home, on demand, whenever you want it... well, most of the time. This is a revolutionary concept for Andovale and we're still working through the kinks (any handy characters are welcome to tinker with it). Unfortunately actual toilets still aren't quite a thing... so you'll be sticking to your chamber-pot for a bit longer yet.
🌸 - Landau carriage with four matching horses of your choice of colour
🌸 - The first step up on the ladder of ranked peerage titles - any of these characters can now officially go by Baron/Baroness.
🌸 - Generally more favourable treatment from the locals - as long as you keep up the impression that your marriage is good, happy and harmonious. That means no waiting in line for a table at Mayfair or Jolly Nice, the Modiste and Darcy Clothing will hold back on offering the latest most fashionable fabrics to anyone until you've had the chance at first pickings. You might even get bowed or curtsied to in the street.
🌸 - A lovely wisteria tree for your garden. A personal wedding gift from Lady Pheme herself. There is even a miniature potted version for those choosing to live in smaller accommodations and/or with no outdoor space. If you ever doze off anywhere near it, you'll find yourself blessed with only the most pleasantand perhaps sexyof dreams.
🌸 - The opportunity to receive further rewards from Lady Pheme in future, if she perceives (or is led to believe) that your marriage is good, happy and harmonious. You're seeing a theme here by now, we hope.
