Depending on where in canon I take him from, Victor has a deep dependence/addiction to opium, to the point that he goes though withdrawal without it by end of season two/start of season three.
I understand that copious opium use is slightly further ahead in historical timelines (the first opium wars happen just at the tail end of the regency era) and that drug use is a heavy trigger for some players, but I am curious as to availability.
Should I take Victor from pre-season three, and with ample thread warnings (or just handwaving if that's the preferred method for such potential triggering behavior) how available is morphine, laudanum, and other opioids in this setting, seeing as they were generally available in local Victorian Drug Stores.
Additionally, not drug related, but Frankenstein related, are practicing doctors allowed to perform their craft in the city? Would locals go to a PC's medical practice? If so, would every item in their doctor's bag be it's own separate regain or would "Victor's Medical Bag and all Accessories within" be considered a single regain?
